5 Things to Know About Being A Surrogate

There’s a lot of information out there — here are the facts that matter most when joining our mission to help create families:

You won’t be genetically related to the baby.

As a gestational surrogate, the embryo is created using the intended parents’ or donors’ sperm and eggs — not yours.

You’ll be compensated and cared for throughout your journey.

Surrogates receive base pay and benefits starting before pregnancy begins — not just after delivery.

You’ll always have a choice in who you match with.

Every match is mutual. You’ll get to know the intended parents before moving forward.

You’ll be medically and emotionally supported.

From IVF to delivery, our care team is by your side. We make sure you feel informed, respected, and never alone.

You’ll be part of something life-changing.

Becoming a surrogate means more than carrying a baby — it’s a way to help others achieve their dream of parenthood and leave a lasting impact on their lives.

Why Women Become Surrogates

Here are some of the most common reasons women choose
surrogacy — all of them rooted in the desire to make a
difference:

They’ve had easy pregnancies and want to help others.

Many surrogates have already completed their families and feel called to use their healthy pregnancies to help someone else build theirs.

They’ve seen loved ones struggle with infertility.

Whether it’s a friend, sister, or co-worker — they know how hard the journey can be, and want to help someone else succeed.

They want to help all types of families grow.

Surrogates play a vital role in helping same-sex couples, cancer survivors, and others finally experience parenthood.

They want to support their own family and give back.

Compensation can make a real difference — helping with personal goals like saving, schooling, or home ownership. And many surrogates go on to refer others or advocate for the cause, growing a community of impact-makers.

“Just completed my first journey with Physician’s Surrogacy and this has been the most amazing experience for myself and my husband. Physician’s Surrogacy made this process so smooth and enjoyable. I was always being checked on and felt like I could ask any questions or voice any concerns. Ileska and Ivory were my case managers and they were absolutely amazing, and extremely supportive.”

“I’m 23 years old, and have a family of my own, so I know the excitement of being a parent. I think every couple who wants a family deserves it. If I could help them accomplish that, it’d be a great experience for everybody involved. I’m very family oriented and couldn’t imagine not being able to produce a child.

This experience gives individuals that are unable to carry a child the opportunity to experience parenthood. The compensation is also a plus. It will help secure a future for my family”
